BJP’s state general secretary organisation Ashok Kaul on Sunday said that BJP doesn’t believe in politics of religion.
Addressing an meeting in Kupwara TRC Ground Kaul said, “BJP never wanted vote in the name of religion. There are some political agents like Dr Farooq Abdulla who are projecting BJP as anti-Muslim to serve their interest and save their vote bank, BJP believes in ‘sab ka saath, sabka vikas.”
He said that “BJP is a party which is working for the upliftment of all the people irrespective of their religion, cast, creed, as the party’s sole agenda is development and betterment of people of all the segments. He emphasized the gathering BJP believes in nation first, party second and self last.”
Koul asked the gathering to stick to the party ideology and work as per the party leadership in the Valley. “BJPs sole agenda in Kashmir is to ensure development on all fronts and to make the J&K state at par with the rest of Indian states. BJP is unique party having nationalistic character and cadre which is always dedicated to the works of society,” he added.
