DDC Kupwara inspects offices, educational institutions in Lolab..

The district development commissioner, Kupwara Khalid Jahangir conducted an extensive tour of Lolab area to take stock of the functioning of various Government Offices/Institutions.
During the visit, the DDC inspected number of institutions and Offices which include, NTPHC Chairkoot, GMS Wavoora, BMS Wavoora, GBMS Gangbugh, GGHSS Sogam, BHSS Sogam, block veterinary office Sogam, Animal Husbandry Office Sogam, BDO Office Sogam, Tehsil Office Sogam, SDAO Sogam, HDO Sogam, PHE SD Sogam and Government Degree College Sogam.

He was accompanied by SDM Lolab and Tehsildar Sogam during the tour. A number of Government officials have been placed under suspension for unauthorized absence.
The DDC Kupwara while inspecting various Government offices/institutions enjoined upon all the officials to maintain punctuality and regularity in discharge of their duties so as to make available timely and quality delivery of services to general public.
It was particularly impressed upon the Principals and Headmasters to ensure presence of teaching staff in the educational institutions . CEO Kupwara was asked to complete the process of recruiting teaching staff on ‘Academic Arrangement’ without any further delay so that academic activities do not suffer.
The principals and headmasters were also called upon to prepare a calendar of activities for academics and extra-curricular activities including debates, quiz competitions, seminars, painting competitions, cultural programmes, for the academic year. It was particularly emphasized to give adequate attention to ‘Learning Outcomes’ so that students are enabled to imbibe knowledge and teachings imparted to them.
