Friday prayers offered at Jamia Masjid Srinagar after three weeks.

Hurriyat Conference (M) chairman and Kashmir’s chief cleric, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq on Friday called for unity among all sections of the society, saying Kashmiris “are going through worst phase of oppression.”
Addressing a Friday congregation at the historic grand mosque of Kashmir after three weeks, Mirwaiz said people of Kashmir should exhibit mass unity among all sections of the society the way people united against the assault on article 35-A.
Mirwaiz said Kashmiri people were ‘going through worst phase of oppression.’ “All rights religious social and political are being usurped,” Mirwaiz said during his Friday sermon.
