Goof-up: Urdu translation of DHSK website lists Governor Vohra as American, his advisor as Pakistani.

In a goof-up, the Urdu translation of the website of health department Kashmir addressed Jammu and Kashmir Governor NN Vohra as Amreeki (American) and his advisor Vijay Kumar as Pakistan.

The website of Directorate of Health Services, Kashmir (dhskashmir.org) read: Amreeki NN Vohra” and for Kumar, the website read “Pakistani Vijay Kumar”.

While the original website in English did not have such a mistake, the version translated to Urdu using Google translation showed the honorifics with the Governor and his Advisor as “American and Pakistani” respectively.

The department later fixed the error but in a rush the Governor Vohra’s name was replaced with “N Nohohra” while Advisor Kumar’s name was written using both Devnagri and Urdu scripts.
