Gunfight breaks out at Dooru..

A gunfight broke out between government forces and militants at Dooru in Anantnag district on Friday evening.
Deputy inspector general of police (DIG), Amit Kumar told Greater Kashmir that at least two militants are trapped. “The operation is on,” Kumar said.
Another police official said that a joint team of army’s 19RR, Central Reserve Police Force and personnel of the Special Operations Group of Jammu and Kashmir police cordoned off Shestergam village and launched searches. “The joint team fired some warning shots towards the suspected spot. The hiding militants opened fire, which was retaliated, triggering a gunfight,” he added.
He said that militants came out of the house in which they had taken shelter and started firing at the forces.
The intermittent firing was on when this report was filed.
