Internet snapped in south Kashmir parts after bodies of two militants handed over to families.

Authorities suspended the Internet service late last night in parts of south Kashmir following the handing over of the bodies of two local militants to the next of their kin in Pulwama and Kulgam districts.Reports said the Internet service was snapped in the twin districts of Pulwama and Kulgam as a “precautionary measure” to avoid any disturbances.

Yesterday, the bodies of two militants killed along with three other associates were exhumed, more than ten days after they were buried near the Line of Control (LoC) at Tanghdar in north Kashmir’s Kupwara district.

The bodies were later handed over to the next of their kin.
