JKLF denounces detention of Yasin Malik, other leaders

Jammu Kashmir Liberation Front (JKLF) has strongly condemned the continued incarceration of its chairman Muhammad Yasin Malik and other Front leaders.

“We strongly condemn the prolonged detention of Front chairman Muhammad Yasin Malik  and other leaders and activists including  zonal president Noor Muhammad Kalwal, organizer Siraj-ud-Din Mir, district president Baramulla Abdul Rashid Magloo, distrct president Ganderbal Bashir Ahmad Rather alias Boya, Mushtaq Ahmad Wani, Assad Ullah Shah and Mushtaq Ahmad Rather,” a spokesman of the JKLF, in a statement today, said, terming these detentions as glaring example of  ‘state sponsored terrorism’.He has also spree of arrests, nocturnal raids, curfew restrictions and other ‘oppressive’ measures employed to foil protest program given by the Joint Resistance Leaders (JRL).
