A delegation of Jammu Kashmir Liberation Front (JKLF) today visited Drubgam, Pulwama, and participated in the funeral prayers of two slain militants, Sameer Tiger and Aquib Khan, and a civilian Shahid Ashraf Dar.
“A JKLF delegation managed to reach Pulwama and participated in funeral prayers and burial of these martyrs,” a spokesman of the Front, in a statement today, said.
“Kashmir is indebted to these great sons of soil who are sacrificing their lives for a righteous cause. Rulers have choked every little political space on our youth, pushed them to the wall and left no other option for them but to sacrifice their lives,” the spokesman quoted the Front leaders as having said while addressing the mourners, expressing solidarity with the bereaved families.
Meanwhile, a delegation of Democratic Freedom Party (DFP) leaders also Visited Drubgam and attended the funeral prayers of slain Hizb Commander Sameer Tiger.
The delegation met the parents of slain militant commander and expressed solidarity with them.
“The delegation also visited Rajpora and exhibited solidarity with the parents of another brave heart Shaheed Aqib Khan. JKDFP later visited Arihal village to meet the broken parents of Shahid Ahmad who was brutally killed by the men in uniform at Drubgam,” the DFP spokesman said.
