JKLF PaK chapter activists stage sit-in against LoC firing..

The leaders and activists of Jammu Kashmir Liberation Front (JKLF), Pakistan administered Kashmir (PaK) and Pakistan chapter, today staged a sit-in at Burhan Chowk near Press Club in Muzaffarabad against continued cross firing and shelling on Line of Control (LoC).
“On the eve of martyrdom days of Ashfaq Majeed Wani, Syed Shabir Sideeqi, dr Abdul Ahad Guru, advocate Jalil Andrabi and martyrs of Dargah, JKLF PaK and Pakistan chapter staged a peaceful sit-in at Burhan Chowk near Press Club in Muzaffarabad against continued cross firing and shelling on ceasefire Line. Abdul Hameed Butt, Saleem Haroon, Dr Toqeer, Manzoor A Chishti and Sajid Sidiqi led the sit-in. Participants paid rich tributes to great martyrs. They demanded immediate end to cross firing on LoC and withdrawal of forces from Jammu Kashmir,” a JKLF spokesman said in a statement“Hundreds of local people and Muhajireen participated in the protest that started at 10:30 till 1:30. Simultaneously, a memorandum was handed over by a group of four JKLF leaders led by M. Rafiq Dar to UNMOGIP office Islamabad, Pakistan, for the UN Secretary General, urging him to play his role in saving lives of innocent on LoC and resolve Kashmir dispute to ensure the stability and peace of South Asian region. The other members of the group were Sardar Anwar, Manzoor A. Khan and Kashif Abbasi,” the spokesman said.
