Tehreek-e-Hurriyat (TeH) chairman Muhammad Ashraf Sehrai on Thursday said that Kashmiris have every right to protest and demand implementation of United Nations resolutions.
“Kashmiris have a right to protest. They just want implementation of UN/UNSC resolutions without bloodshed. Kashmiris have no weaponry and yet forces have waged war with brute violence. This is the price we are paying in return for our legitimate demand. The human rights violations are at its peak in Kashmir and the bloodshed unleashed by forces must end,” Sehrai said in a statement.
Sehria said, “Wonder where is the UN and other international bodies and why aren’t they making efforts to stop this bloodshed?.”
Paying rich tributes to the militants killed in a gunfight with forces at Khrew Sehrai said, “Our brave-hearts are sacrificing their precious lives to end our miseries . Without the resolution of this issue, real peace, stability and economic progress of the entire region would remain a distant dream.”
“The prevailing political uncertainty and instability in Jammu and Kashmir is taking heavy toll over the precious human lives,” he added
