Militant outfit Lashkar-e-Taiba has claimed the responsibility for Hajin attack that took place on Tuesday night. LeT spokesperson Dr Abdullah Ghaznavi in a statement said that the attack was carried out by the militants affiliated with the outfit. He claimed that at least three army men were killed and many injured. Referring to the killing of two Hajin youth, LeT chief in an e-mailed statement said, “The killing of youth in Hajin in recent days was the crime of agencies, not the Mujahideen. In fact, such acts by enemy units are an effort to create a trust deficit.,”
“We condemn maligning of the honor of Dukhtaran-e-Millat’s members in the Anantnag police station. It is nothing but an unforgivable crime. The police must not sabotage the honor of the daughters of the nation,” Shah said.“On one side there is a cease-fire drama but consequently, we see the atrocities on women, fake cases and post-release arrests. The leaders must take proactive measures into consideration and expose such conspiracies before the public,” the statement added.
