LeT militant arrested in south Kashmir’s Kulgam: Police.

The Special Operations Group (SOG) of Jammu and Kashmir Police on Thursday claimed to have arrested a Lashkar-e-Toiba (LeT) militant in south Kashmir’s Kulgam district.

Mubarak Ahmad Dar son of Abdul Rahim Dar was arrested during a raid in Chahlan village of the district.Dar, a resident of Redwani Balla, was said to be missing from October last year.

Quoting a police officer, the report said the raid was conducted at the village by the sleuths of SOG and during searches the suspected person was apprehended.The officer claimed that Dar was a C-category militant who was active since October and was affiliated with Lashkar-e-Toiba outfit. “A case under relevant sections of law has been registered and further investigations have been initiated,” he added.
