Jammu Kashmir Liberation Front (JKLF) chief Mohammad Yasin Malik has gone into hiding to lead the proposed march to south Kashmir’s Shopian district tomorrow, said a spokesman.
He condemned the “police raids at various places” to arrest Malik.
“Police raided Yasin Sahib’s residence yesterday and today raided JKLF offices at Abi-Guzar too,” he said, adding that the police also raided the residence of JKLF zonal president Noor Muhammad Kalwal at Malabagh Srinagar.
While condemning these police raids, JKLF zonal president Noor Muhammad Kalwal said that these raids and restrictions actually “exhibit the travesty of so-called Indian democracy in Jammu and Kashmir.”
Separatists have called for a march to Shopian tomorrow to protest the recent civilian killings.
