PCPG meeting discusses public grievances

People raised the issues of supplying of milk, installation of electric poles, removal of debris passing through the local canal at the Police Community Participation Group (PCPG) meeting held at police station Zainapora. The meeting was attended by more than 100 citizens hailing from different villages of Zainapora sub division.
The SSP Shopian addressed the meeting. Others who attended include SDPO Zainapora, DySP Zainapora and SHO Zainapora.
The SSP Shopian assured the participants that their genuine problems will be brought into the notice of Government for early redressal. The SSP Shopian telephonically requested District Development Commission Shopian to look into the grievances of the people, who assured that the problems shall be addressed.
He also urged people that the youth should be persuaded to shun the path of militancy and all should efforts should be made to guide “our children to pursue education and not join anti-national elements”
