SafaiKaramchari Union warns agitation over delay in release of pending salaries.

Civic SafaiKarmachari Union here on Tuesday held a press conference and appealed the administration to release the two and half days’ salary of employees before Christmas or else get ready to face agitation.

President of the union, DevAnand Gill said that the two and half days’ salary is pending since April this year and despite repeated requests, the authorities at the helm of affairs have not released the same.   He also demanded release of salaries of NGO Safaikaramcharis before December 10, which according to him, is also pending for the last three months besides settling pending cases under SRO 43 as early as possible.

Gill appealed administration for time-to-time disbursement of two and half days’ salary and release of NGOs monthly salary every month on fixed date.“If the salaries of the employees are not released before 10th of this month, SafaiKaramcharis will be forced to take coercive steps and for all the consequences, only government would be held responsible,” Gill said.

Prominent among those present on the occasion included Shankar Kumar, Tarsem Hans, Vijay Pal,  Sonu Gill, Bittu,  Harry Gill, ChamanMattu, Ramesh Lal, VipanMashi, GagiMoman, GopalBalkara, Salim, Lucky Kumar, Manzoor, BawaSotra besides  others.
