SEECC appeals installation of CCTV cameras in all exams centers

State Education Employees Coordination Committee (SEECC) on Monday appealed Governor’s administration to install CCTV cameras in all exams centers.

As per press release, a meeting of lecturers, masters, teachers and ReT teachers was held at Kathua to discuss the issues of employees of education department under the leadership of Amar Nath Thakur state chairman of SEECC.The main issues discussed were installation of CCTV cameras in all examinations halls from 1st to PG classes and for all competitive examinations like SSRB , PSC and other state level tests to avoid the menace of cheating and copying in the state.

Addressing the participants Amar Nath Thakur urged Governor S P Malik to issue order to all examination conducting agencies and departments to install CCTV cameras forth with to prevent cheating in all examinations. He said other departments should not be allowed to supervise the examinations in school education department which is humiliation of all teaching fraternity and the department officers.

Parveen Singh Tara Mani Ashoni Sharma, Bansi Lal, Surjit Singh, Devinder Singh,  Surjit Singh Jasrotia, Babu Ram, Des Raj, Dharam Singh, Jagdish Raj, Rajiv Sharma and Rafiq Ahmed also spoke during meeting.
