Sehrai seeks UN intervention.

Chairman of Tehreek-e-Hurriyat Muhammad Ashraf Sehrai on Sunday reacted sharply to the statement of Army Chief General Bipin Rawat.

In a statement here Sehrai said, “General Rawat’s statement that civilian protestors would be dealt sternly is an indication that Army has declared a full scale war against civilian population to silence the voices, which are demanding their birth right which is right to self determination.”

Sehrai said, “The Cordon and Search Operations (CASOs) have become a daily routine. Apart from killing Kashmiris, such operations have made the social lives hell. Forces are destroying  the properties of the common masses under the garb of CASOs.”
