Taj criticizes govt for leaving Uri residents in lurch

Senior Congress leader and former Minister, Taj Moihuddin on Tuesday criticized the government for ignoring the people of Uri in its developmental programmes.
Interacting with people here on his arrival from Jammu, the senior Congress leader alleged that most of the developmental works in the constituency have been put on hold and the people are reeling under difficulties. He alleged that most of the works under Rural Development schemes have been left midway leaving people high and dry.
Taj Mohi ud Din lamented the attitude of the government towards the people affected by the cross LoC shelling and demanded their urgent rehabilitation, including construction of bunkers, supply of ration and other facilities. He expressed his deep sympathy with them.
