Teacher aspirants urge SSB to cancel preference system.

The teacher aspirants on Friday urged Service Selection Board (SSB) to cancel preference system in the selection process.

The SSB had advertised district cadre posts of General Teacher vide number. ED-I/332/2009 dated December 12.The aspirants later SSB through another notification sought preferences from candidates based on their choice.

“Some candidates have given their preference to General posts rather than Math, Science and Urdu posts thinking that number of posts in General is more than these subjects,” they said. They said say for instance if a candidate is selected in both the lists-Math/Science/other subjects and General post, it will hurt the chances of candidates who have applied for General post as seat will be consumed from their quota.
