Week-long painting exhibition concludes at JU.

A week long solo painting exhibition “Samritian” by Anila Singh Charak concluded at University of  Jammu, here on Friday.Prof SanjanaKoul, Department of Botany and first lady of JU campus was the chief guest at the valedictory.

While appreciating the efforts of organisers, Prof SanjanaKoul said that all the paintings of Anila Singh Charak have a hidden message of peace, womanhood and nature. As an artist herself, Prof SanjanaKoul spent sufficient time in discussing the minute details of the paintings.

It is pertinent to mention, Anila Sigh Charak is an artist of international repute whose each painting has a story to tell. From political turmoil in Kashmir to expressions of womanhood and her sacrifice to tranquility in nature, her paintings cover all and are versatile.

While explaining her paintings to the audience she said that there is hidden correlation of nature with human.
